fault #34 on bryant furnace

The flame sensor is a metal rod with a ceramic base. If you locate the wiire on the circuit board that is on the sensor terminal and follow it , you should find the sensor. It is attached to the burners. It is sometimes part of the ignitor spark assembly.

this fault code #34 says to clean, with fine sandpaper, the flame sensor. I'm not quite sure what i;m looking for. please describe.
