My deck is an octagon. We have lattice panels on the bottom and they keep coming out from the T-connectors the contractor used. There are no posts going down from the deck to the ground, just the T-connectors and the lattice. Any suggestions on how I can correct this to improve its appearance.
T-connectors or plates should be fine. But, the lattice is too thin to hold screws well. You'll need T's on the inside and outside, to then bolt them together and through the lattice for a permanent fix. Or, more normal, is to replace the T's with wood cleats and screw or nail the lattice into the cleats.
