Have an A frame mobile home AC unit. Instead of using two filters every month over coils can I make a filter to put directly behind the vented front door cover instead of placing directly on the coils? This would save a lot of money. thanks
You can do that, however, you will still be circulating air over the coil from inside the enclosurer which from my experience can be very dirty. I would suggest you get some washable filters to use on the coil.
